The Journey Begins
This was the first show, which launched Banyan Art Gallery, the online art portal – bridging the gap between the talented artists of Bengal and other parts of the country to their clients. The highlight of the exhibition which was held on the 23rd& 24th May 2014 was its inauguration by Mrs. Rajni Bector, the enterprising lady behind Cremica, one of the leading brands in Premium Food Products across the world. Ms. Neepa Sharma, Director, Art File – Fine Art Consultancy, curated the show and 16 young talents showcased a collection whose works suggest great promise and investment potential.Go To Show
A riot of colors, spirituality and myriad themes came alive through the paintings on display at ‘The Festive Strokes’, bringing in the mood of Diwali, a two day exhibition held on the 16th& 17th October 2015. City based artist & socialite Picky Bindra painted on a blank canvas live for the visitors. Her abstract artwork was in line with ‘Vogue’ magazine’s social cause ‘I Pledge’ for women’s empowerment. The inauguration ceremony featured Mr. Sanjay Goel, Chairman – The Indian Institute Of Architects Ludhiana Centre (IIA-LC) and his team of architects. A senior artist attended the Art show from New Delhi – Mr. ChanchalGanguly who also showcased his works. Clients got a chance to speak and interact with the artist directly. There was a display of 28 artworks of 15-framed artists selected from across the country offering a lot of exposure and introducing one to new ideas from the world of art.Go To Show
Motley Hues II
This was a collection of fine paintings and art effects held on the 26th & 27th December 2015 in Chandigarh.The inauguration saw Dr. Sumita Misra IAS, Principal Secretary Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana, Chairperson Chandigarh Literary Society. The show also featured a master ceramic craftsman who displayed his“own pottery “at the exhibition. Along with him was an artist who created a line of beautiful artistic lamps that were unique and artistically chic and contemporary. R.S. Shakya a senior artist whose theme is landscape also had his collection displayed.Go To Show
As the name states ‘RongoBhoomi’ is a platform ofcolors and Ms.Neepa Sharma, at Banyan Art Gallery organized a collection of contemporary artworks from Bengal, which was exhibited at Chandigarh on the 18th and 19th March 2016. The exhibition opened up to artists like AnimeshBiswas, Subrata Das, ApuDebnathBanga, AsitSarkar and others whose talents were seen in their extensive use of brushwork, colors and light andthe stunning effects and composition.Go To Show
